Odisha make flying start in Sub-junior Boys NFC

Odisha got off to a flying start in the Sub-junior Boys National Football Championship (East Zone), routing Chhattisgarh 6-0 at Patna, Bihar today. Captain Anil Toppo and Arbin Lakra scored two goals each, while Binod Majhi and Ajay Toppo contributed one apiece. Odisha will next meet West Bengal on September 8.

Anil Toppo is leading a 20-member Odisha team in this championship. Nipendra Das and M Aiswaryan Pillai are with the team as coach and manager respectively. Altogether seven teams are participating. Other six teams are: Sikkim, Bihar, SAI, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand and West Bengal.
